Jim Fleming, Director
Our product development team is lead by Jim Fleming, a founder of GenPrime and co-inventor of the TBAK and the GenPrime Yeast Activity Monitor.™ He has extensive experience managing research projects and has successfully developed products that have been taken to the marketplace. He worked for several years as a production supervisor, as a scientist for the NASA Ames Research Center and Directed the Sasakawa Research Division at the Linus Pauling Institute for 12 years. He has published numerous scientific papers, many in the field of biotechnology, and holds three patents and two patents filed. In 1993, he received the Glenn Foundation Award for his research.

Johnny Humphreys, Chairman
Mr. Humphreys was the CEO of Itron, a $300 million Spokane based company, from 1987 to 1999. He was Chairman of the Board until January 2000. Mr. Humphreys also served as Board Chairman of the Linesoft Corporation for 2 years. Prior to Itron, Mr. Humphreys was the President of Datachecker, a $250 million subsidiary of National Semiconductor. Datachecker pioneered in the development of scanning systems used in retail sales. Previously he was the founder and President of Telxon, a manufacturer of hand held computer systems for Supermarkets. Mr. Humphreys joined the board of GenPrime in January 2003.

Don Lightfoot, PhD, Secretary/Treasurer
Dr. Lightfoot was a founder of GenPrime and is currently an Associate Professor of Biology at Eastern Washington University where he is also the Director of the Biotechnology Program. Dr. Lightfoot advises GenPrime on all manner of biotechnology and venture financing. He has extensive research experience in nucleic acid diagnostics and analysis. Dr. Lightfoot is a founding member of the Washington Biomedical and Biotechnology Association. He has received numerous grants over the years and has published several papers in the field of DNA/RNA analysis.

Steve McGrew, Director
Mr. McGrew was a founder of GenPrime and is currently President and CEO of New Light Industries, Inc. and Control Logistics, Inc. Mr. McGrew advises GenPrime on all manner of business and intellectual property matters. He has developed and patented several processes in holography, optics and anti-counterfeiting, with 24 issued patents and four patents pending. Papers published by Mr. McGrew are widely used in teaching holography, and virtually every commercial holograph company in the world uses his patented processes.

John Pariseau, Director
John Pariseau is General Manager of WIN Partners, LLC, an angel fund based in Spokane. Prior to WIN, John was CFO of Brewster Heights Packing, Inc., the largest privately owned integrated fruit shipper in the United States. John has also founded a number of successful real-estate and retail ventures over the last 20 years. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and serves on the boards of The Delta Angel Group, Connect Northwest, and is an advisor at the Hogan New Venture Lab at Gonzaga University.

Gary Schweikhardt, Director
Gary Schweikhardt is the President & CEO of Epigenomics, Inc. He has been with the U.S.-based subsidiary of Epigenomics AG since December 2000, when the company was merged with ORCA Biosciences. Prior to joining Epigenomics, Mr. Schweikhardt was the co-founder, President, and CEO of ORCA Biosciences, where he raised initial seed funding of $650,000 and helped raise $27 million for the merged company. Gary's previous experiences also include numerous high-level positions in finance and operations, as well as founding multiple successful ventures. Mr. Schweikhardt remains highly involved in his community, having served as the Chairman of the Seattle Economic Development Commission and on several committees for his alma maters. Gary has earned an M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He joined GenPrime's Board of Directors in 2005.

Buck Somes, Director
Buck Somes is Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He is a co-founder of GenPrime and co-inventor of TBAK and the GenPrime Yeast Activity Monitor.™ Buck received his MS degree from Eastern Washington University in 1996 in the field of biotechnology. He was the principle author of GenPrime`s business and operations plans. Buck was responsible for developing the initial strategies for marketing and selling TBAK and the GenPrime Yeast Activity Monitor™ into the cheese and brewing industries.
