GenPrime, a network of fertility care clinics centred in Southeast Asia, is set to debut in Singapore with the launch of its flagship clinic at Camden Medical. The new GenPrime Fertility Centre, Singapore is slated to open in August 2025, upon completion of licensing and will bring a next-generation model of integrated fertility care to both local and global patients.
This expansion marks a defining moment in GenPrime’s mission to advance reproductive healthcare through the convergence of artificial intelligence, personalised pathways, and holistic support. Designed to support individuals and couples on their fertility journey, GenPrime offers a seamless, end-to-end approach to care.
Once licensed, the Singapore clinic will offer services such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF), egg freezing, fertility preservation, and reproductive health diagnostics. GenPrime clinics are part of Rhea Fertility, a global reproductive health platform with dual headquarters in Singapore and New York. Through the parent company Rhea, patients access a global network of fertility clinics (GenPrime), established lab technology and AI-powered tools (Rhea Labs), and wraparound wellness support, to provide a fully integrated journey. This addresses challenges patients might face when navigating multiple providers at different stages of their treatment.
Reimagining fertility care, globally and locally
“GenPrime’s expansion into Singapore, home to Rhea’s Asia headquarters, is a pivotal step in reshaping fertility care across the region,” said Margaret Wang, CEO of Rhea Fertility.
“Fertility care is one of the most profound and deeply personal journeys someone can take, and we recognise the emotional and physical challenges that come with it,” she shares. “Globally, our GenPrime clinics do not just offer treatments—we provide integrated support for the entire fertility journey with patient-centric care and technology at its core. Our goal is to provide more than just clinics; we want to be a trusted partner for anyone seeking fertility help, providing unwavering support, empathy, and comprehensive fertility solutions through a single platform.”
The GenPrime network currently has a presence in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the United States. These clinics are part of Rhea Fertility’s global reproductive health platform, which brings together established diagnostics, fertility treatments, wellness providers, and tech-enabled tools into a single, cohesive experience.
Since its inception, GenPrime’s global network has supported more than 3,500 international patients, offering cross-border fertility packages that enable patients to begin care in one country and continue it in another. Some patients—such as single women from China, where egg freezing is restricted—begin their fertility preservation journey in destinations like Malaysia and later complete IVF treatment at GenPrime’s Los Angeles clinic. This cross-border care is made possible by a multidisciplinary team of over 80 healthcare professionals, including 16 fertility specialists, each committed to delivering care aligned with GenPrime’s global standards and patient-first philosophy.
In markets where permitted, GenPrime also provides donor services and support for surrogacy options. In the United States, the Los Angeles clinic supports women exploring surrogacy
through specialised programmes. Across its network, GenPrime provides care for individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds and family structures, including those preserving fertility ahead of medical treatment.
AI-enhanced fertility, human-centred care
Central to GenPrime’s capabilities is Rhea Labs, the group’s technology arm. Using proprietary AI tools, Rhea Labs enhances fertility outcomes—from early reproductive planning to embryo selection—by delivering data-driven insights that personalise and optimise treatment.
Beyond tech, GenPrime patients benefit from Rhea’s ecosystem of wellness partners, including traditional Chinese medicine leader Eu Yan Sang and modern supplement brand Moom Health, offering whole-person care that balances innovation with tradition.
Meeting a rising regional need
GenPrime’s upcoming Singapore launch addresses an increased demand at a time when Singapore’s total fertility rate remained at its historic low of 0.97 in 2024. This mirrors trends across Southeast Asia, both of declining fertility rates and the growing interest and need for advanced reproductive healthcare.
“Singapore is a vital city in Southeast Asia, connecting patients and doctors to our expanding network of clinics,” says Wang. “Our vision is to establish not just our GenPrime clinic but also Singapore as a healthcare hub for those seeking comprehensive fertility care and access to modern reproductive technologies.”
As part of its strategic growth, GenPrime plans to expand its presence throughout Southeast Asia, fostering partnerships with local healthcare providers to enhance accessibility to evidence-based fertility care across the region.
“The upcoming launch of our Singapore clinic marks a significant milestone in our continued growth,” says Wang. “We're committed to deepening our reach and impact across Southeast Asia, bringing meaningful, measurable change to how fertility care is delivered. We're poised to make a difference in lives and to help shape family-building journeys in Asia and beyond.”
